The Zebra LP2844 is the same as the zebralp2844. The LP designation means the printer is Thermal Direct (does not require a ribbon), if it had the TLP designation it would be Thermal Direct and Thermal Transfer (Requires a ribbon). If you want a new Zebra printer, why not ask us for a quote, I am sure we can equal or beat most on line prices. Contact us at here
